Cincopa is a free service that allows you to share and transcode your files/media between devices and friends, majimob products now feature hassle free Cincopa integration. This means that you can place and video or audio file in a folder on your PC and have it seamlessly synchronized over the air (802.11b if supported by your device or 3G) to your mobile phone, videos can be automatically downscaled to 3GP for playback on the device with no effort from yourself!

This feature is very easy to utilize in majimob products using the following steps on your Windows PC and in your mobile phone.

On your Windows PC:
  1. Signup for the Cincopa service by going here.
  2. Download & install the Cincopa client on your PC.
  3. Select a directory to share with your mobile device in the Cincopa client.

Go to the application main menu and select Cincopa from the menuEnter the username and password for your Cincopa account created during your signup, press Next to continue.Select a local directory on the phone where files from Cincopa will be stored and press OK.Select the remote subdirectory in your Cincopa account, all files from that directory (not including subdirectories) will be mirrored into the device seamlesslySynchronization will run in the background, you can add additional folders using the menu. The arrow indicates the state of the synchronization process.

On your mobile device:
  1. Go to the application main menu and select Cincopa from the menu.
  2. Enter the username and password for your Cincopa account created during your signup, press Next to continue.
  3. Select a local directory on the phone where files from Cincopa will be stored (you can create a new directory using the menu) and press OK.
  4. Select the remote subdirectory in your Cincopa account, all files from that directory (not including subdirectories) will be "mirrored" into the device seamlessly.
  5. Synchronization will run in the background, you can add additional folders using the menu. The arrow indicates the state of the synchronization process.
Following these steps you will create a directory to mirror a directory on your PC, you can create as many of those as you wish and they will be synchronized automatically periodically. Notice that synchronization takes time especially for larger files, synchronization doesn't seek in subdirectories either.
Files downloaded during synchronization are automatically added to your playlists. Files deleted or modified on your PC will not be removed or modified in the phone, you would have to do this manually using your devices file manager.
